Explore New Shopping Areas

Tired of your usual shopping haunts?  Does the mall seem boring?  Try expanding your shopping area.  Go to the following areas:

• Walk around your local downtown or a neighboring downtown.  There could be some very interesting small stores with unique items.  Get to know your local merchants.
• If you live in a city, explore a different section of the city each time.  For example, the Latin Quarter, or the Italian Market.  You might not buy anything, but you could learn about culture, food, and people.
• Visit a small town in the country with some friends.  Take a train or a bus, and explore.  There are many interesting areas out there with shopping that could be fun with friends to explore.

Era Themed Thrift Store Shopping

Pick an era you would like to dress for.  For example, the 70's.  Go with your friends to local thrift stores and find clothing from the 70's.  Set a budget of $10 or $15 dollars and go shopping.  Whoever has the best outfit wins.

Search for those leisure suits, mini skirts, boots, and tops.  It can be fun in the search and then dressing up.
