Throw a Popcorn & Movie Night Bash For Your Friends

What's Up?
Want to throw a fun bash that is affordable and fun? You can! No need to spend a lot to have fun. Make some different types of popcorn that are sure to wow your friends, rent a movie, get your viewing room ready and get ready to laugh.
Idea
Make several different flavors of popcorn for your guests. Vary the flavors to match their tastes, and give a variety of choices.
You can also set up a popcorn bar where your guests can add their own toppings to plain popcorn. Some potential toppings: butter, salt, seasoned salt, Parmesan cheese, shredded cheese, chocolate syrup, or Carmel sauce. You are only limited by your imagination and what your stomach can handle.
How Does It Help?
Nutrition
Popcorn is a whole grain food which makes it a complex carbohydrate and an excellent source of fiber. Popcorn is low in calories, ranging from 31-55 calories per cup when un-buttered, and 130 calories when lightly buttered. Homemade popcorn has no artificial additives or preservatives.
Cost
Homemade popcorn can be affordable, flavorful, and extremely imaginative. The cost of an evening for 10 can be under $20 versus the price of going to the movie theater and buying popcorn for all.
